Online Range Officer Course

On May 15 at 1:00pm we will have an RO Course online using Zoom. 

You will need a computer, camera, microphone and a free Zoom application that you can get at www.zoom.us

Volunteer Saturday May 15 

PLEASE NOTE: The Range will be closed on Saturday May 15th from 9:00-5:00 pm 

We will need volunteers to help get all the other ranges up and running. 

Starting at 9:00 AM and we will be working all day until 5:00 PM. If you can volunteer you can join us anytime. Please bring a mask. You will be following COVID protocols for masking and outdoor social distancing. We will have small work groups spread all over our facility. 

So we will need people willing to pick the rocks out of Range 5, Range 7 and Range 2 in addition to Madeline’s recent report in the activities planned for Range 2. Bring some sunscreen, boots, gloves, a lunch (COVID protocols mean we can’t feed you).

We will be recycling the material that was taken out of the ranges during our construction and organizing it for use. For this you should bring tools that you would use to tear apart a building such as sawsalls, screw guns, wrecking bars, shovels etc. As well as the things above. 

We be doing some earth moving using a skid steer, loaders and a back hoe. If you are a qualified operator we can use your skills. We could also use some trucks to move clay and topsoil. We will be working on the new range 8 as well as doing some cleanup and fill work on range 2. 

I hope you will consider dropping down for a while or the day. And we will have ongoing projects as we build and make our range the best.
