We are looking for a member who wants to work with LFGA volunteers. Basically the volunteer management role is to have an “inventory” of people who have a desire and skills to help. Then when something comes up we put a “call” out to the list of qualified / interested people and find the help we need to make something happen. Don’t Charge the Facility Gate!   We have put this out a few times since we had to change our gate system due to an unfortunate lightning strike.  The gate will only allow ONE car or truck to pass through per swipe of the gate card.  Do not charge through the gate after someone else has opened it!  If you do it is possible you may sustain damage to your vehicle.  It is very important that the Range Operator can access…

Reminder! Today’s Free Sight in Clinic! 9AM to 3PM

Open to Non-Members and Members. Range #2 LFGA Shooting Sports Facility. There will be qualified volunteers on hand that are knowledgeable in minor scope and trigger repairs, the cleaning process, and getting your shots on target! The Volunteers of the LFGA provide this program free of charge as a public safety service.  An accurate rifle provides a safer tool for target shooting and ethical hunting.

Range Closed – lightning strike damage!

Sorry for the inconvenience, but the range is closed temporarily.  A recent lightning strike fried the electronics in our gate opener.  Of course, we can’t just leave the gate open….. so we are scrambling to get the parts to restore functionality to the gate controller.
