This year (2021) the Bench Rest League starts its 20th season. The League will start at 6:00 PM on Sunday, June 13th, Monday, June 14th, and Wednesday, June 16th and continue over the next 13 weeks on Range #2. Each participant shoots one night a week and can choose between Sunday, Monday or Wednesday evenings depending on what works best for their schedule. We shoot at 100, 200, and 300-yard distances. We had a very successful measuring session last weekend with over twenty(20) heads going through the process. However, Alberta Fish and Game Association, the official keepers of Alberta’s Wildlife Records, have extended the date for hunters and fisherman to get their scores into Edmonton to the end of April. This workshop will introduce interested individuals that would like to be mentors to the mentored hunt program AHEIA manages for first-time hunters.
