Important Government Information & Survey

Important Government Information & Survey

This issue goes far beyond that of firearm law and handgun bans.  This issue is important to anyone who cares about public safety and REAL solutions to violence, people who are concerned about government accountability, honesty and transparency (reading the information they have attached to the survey shows a strong bias and agenda supported by facts proven to be wrong.)

Please follow the link and read the governments “dialogue on handguns” and complete the survey.  It won’t take that long but if we don’t get involved it will truly be a one-sided discussion. Although many believe it will be in any case we have to try to have our voices heard.  We must push for changes that will make a real difference not just penalize law-abiding firearm owners and cost every Canadian taxpayer massive amounts of money that could be staying in our pockets or going to efforts that could really affect the social ills behind the crimes the media has labelled ‘gun violence.’

The survey questions are misleading and in an effort to show how they could be answered to counter this Allan Friesen our Vice president has shared a section of his answers to show how he chose to reframe the questions through his answers.

Here is the link to the background paper and survey.  Even if you do not own a semi-automatic rifle or a handgun this is only the first step toward a full out firearm ban. History has proven this in other countries and once it starts it is almost impossible to stop.

Click the link to be taken to the government webpage, the first link is to their ‘Engagement Paper’ and the second is to the actual survey – we strongly recommend ready the paper and then answering the survey to fully understand the premises and biases being presented.

  1. They do not know how many illegal guns are in Canada and they do not know how these illegal guns are making it into the wrong hands but they are willing to ban hand guns from law abiding citizens (assault rifles that are already prohibited, and so are large cap mags.) on a whim to see if it reduces crimes commited with illegal guns…. What?
