Federal Election Announcement – A Critical Moment for Our Future Monday, April 28, 2025

The upcoming federal election will be one of the most important in our lifetime—for Canada, for Alberta, and for our local community here in Lethbridge.

For years, our way of life has been under increasing threat. The current government has systematically targeted legal hunters, sport shooters, and collectors—good, law-abiding citizens—through unfair regulations, misinformation, and punitive policy. Our members, families, and traditions have felt the impact deeply.

Already, a tidal wave of propaganda and misinformation is flooding the media. It’s never been more important to cut through the noise and stand on solid ground.

That’s why the Lethbridge Fish & Game Association (LFGA) will be stepping forward in the weeks ahead to provide trusted information and insight about the election.

This Saturday afternoon, March 29, we will be launching an election 2025 information and resource page www.https://lfga.club/vote2025/, which will be updated daily until the election AND releasing a video message from LFGA President and Range Operator Rick Blakeley ([email protected]) – you’ll want to hear Ricks message as he has been working for years with all levels of Government and critical stakeholders on the pivotal areas of law and policy that will either be overturned or entrenched beyond correction by the outcome of THIS election!
