Don’t Charge the Facility Gate!

We have put this out a few times since we had to change our gate system due to an unfortunate lightning strike.  The gate will only allow ONE car or truck to pass through per swipe of the gate card.  Do not charge through the gate after someone else has opened it!  If you do it is possible you may sustain damage to your vehicle.  It is very important that the Range Operator can access who is on the range in case of an emergency or an evacuation order. One way he does this is by who has keyed through the gate.  If you have ‘rhino’d’ in behind someone else not only do you risk damage to your vehicle, you may get left behind in an evacuation.  There will still be a video recording of your entrance but it takes longer to go through this information.  PLEASE only go through the gate when you have swiped with YOUR access card to open it.  If there is more than one vehicle in your party (we assume they would be members too or have a day pass) you will have to swipe them through first and then swipe through again to get your own vehicle through.  If you need further information concerning the Shooting Sports Facility please contact our Volunteer Range Operator, Mr. Rick Blakeley
