Centre Fire Rifle Reloading Course

Basic introduction to reloading for solid, removable bolt action centre fire rifles.

Hands on course that includes:

            Dismantling of dies to see all of the parts

            Reassembling the dies

            Setting up dies

            Cleaning and inspecting brass

            Resizing and trimming brass

            Deburring brass

            Cleaning primer pockets

            Determining overall length of cartridge

            Introduction to powders and primers and talking about powders for hunting loads

            Proper measuring of powder

            Quick overview of bullets         

            Basic understanding of reloading manuals and where to start

           Why a clean gun is imperative to the whole process of reloading

Demonstrations will be on resizing and reloading 308 but this course can be adapted to any calibre
