Range # 3 is for .22lr (long rifle) ammunition ONLY – NO other calibres or variants are allowed. Two members so far have had to retake their RO course for not following this rule. Hello Archers,Tom Hopkins our volunteer who looks after the archery range has sent the white archery targets that were on the north range away for repair.  He expects them to be back on the week of the 25th of March.  He advises that the 3D range is still operational but remember to use the correct lubricated arrows for these targets. We are looking for a member who wants to work with LFGA volunteers. Basically the volunteer management role is to have an “inventory” of people who have a desire and skills to help. Then when something comes up we put a “call” out to the list of qualified / interested people and find the help we need to make something happen. Open to Non-Members and Members. Range #2 LFGA Shooting Sports Facility. There will be qualified volunteers on hand that are knowledgeable in minor scope and trigger repairs, the cleaning process, and getting your shots on target! The Volunteers of the LFGA provide this program free of charge as a public safety service.  An accurate rifle provides a safer tool for target shooting and ethical hunting.
