Want to learn to hunt but don’t know how to start? This is for you!!
Learning Opportunity! Introduction to Hunting – Hunter Education Course with Mentored Hunt Option, co-sponsored by the Lethbridge Fish and Game Association and Alberta Hunter Education Instructors’ Association.
The LFGA & AHEIA are offering the Alberta Hunter Education Course, from September 28 – 30. It is open to all ages of new hunters (members and non-members)
This course is required by new hunters to hunt in Alberta and covers all the basics right up to ethically harvesting your own animal for food.
The course will run on Friday the 28th 6 PM – 10 PM, Saturday the 29th, 9 AM – 5 PM, and Sunday 1 PM – 6 PM.
Fees are by cash donation.
Hunting tags may be available to students to allow you to hunt this season!
Reserve your spot by email. Details, location, items to bring etc will be sent to the registered individuals.
A mentored hunt is also available to all new hunters; those that take this course and all other first-time hunters. Questions and applications can be directed to Tedd Walcott
