Hello, Alberta Environment and Parks has heard that Albertan’s are interested in enhancing and diversifying Alberta’s fisheries and would like to discuss fish stocking options, additional harvest opportunities, and opportunities for future stakeholder involvement and engagement.

Fisheries Management has announced 11 engagement sessions across Alberta in January 2020, where Albertan’s can come and speak directly with fisheries staff about fisheries management. The focus of these sessions is on listening to Albertans and looking for innovative ways to implement what we hear, while honestly communicating options and trade-offs.

All sessions will be an open-house format between the hours of 4:30-8:30 pm.
