I hear your complaints and advice.  I apologize for the inconvenience caused by closing the whole facility during pre-hunting season for the recent Provincial IPSC match. Thank you for letting me know … this is how we learn and grow.

LFGA expects that every good will make sure their equipment will be capable of making an ethical harvest. Our hunting community practices and educates themselves to make absolutely certain that they hunt ethically.

We act on this belief with our public Sight-In Clinics. One is coming up on October 14. This event will be open to anyone in our community and it is free … thanks to our volunteers. Please, encourage your friends to drop in that day to get their rifles tuned up. Our October event saw almost 80 hunter take advantage and most of the rifle scopes needed TLC.

Our facility will continue holding events during the rest of the year that augment the Range revenues enhance the economics of our city and promote our range. With this additional money we purchase new equipment and keep our membership fees reasonable. This year we hosted one western Canadian event and one provincial event. Make sure you check the Range Calendar to make sure the Range you want to shoot on is open. And go to our website and subscribe to our email list at www.lfga.club to get the latest news.

Speaking of news, I have closed Range 3 until further notice.  Range 3 was designed for 22lr and members were using centre fire cartridges that damaged the steel backstops.  Leagues and bookings will continue to operate on this Range.
