LFGA FISH CHAIR & FLY TYING COORDINATOR
Hello Folks
During the winter it’s always great to think about summer activities and prepare. So it’s time to discuss fishing and leadership for our outdoor community while we keep warm and dry.
In addition to Tedd Walcott’s FISHING ROD BUILDING WORKSHOP that was announced earlier this week LFGA is looking for someone or some individuals to be our Fish Chair and be a leaders in the use of our fly tying equipment and supplies. .
LFGA FISH CHAIR…
This person will be help the executive with matters related to fishing and may also coordinate, organize and lead LFGA activities.
You will be appointed by me and will be expected to attend our LFGA meetings as well as the Alberta Wildlife Federation (AFGA) fishing caucus. It is critical that we are political advisors to the government.
This position does not need to do everything related to fishing. Your level of involvement will depend on your interest and time constraints.
Contact me for the detailed job description and expectations.
FLY TYING COORDINATOR …
This person may wish to be our Fishing Chair but that is not an expectation.
We have equipment and tons of materials that were purchased through Alberta Conservation Association grants, LFGA range funds or donated. Now we need someone who will organize events and/or a regular meet focused on fly tying. These activities will work with the new rod you built or purchased and you will be prepared to hit the streams.
Thank you for participating and supporting our outdoor community.
Cheers
Rick
