Do you support the continued operation of the Lethbridge Fish & Game Shooting Sports Facility in its current location in Pennaquim Park?  

Yes, I support the continued operation at Pennaquim Park.

Do you believe the City of Lethbridge has an obligation to residents by assisting the Lethbridge Fish and Game Association provide a safe, controlled environment to use firearms?

Yes I support education and training in the safe use of firearms.

Do you agree that the LFGA Shooting Sports Facility represents an important community sport and recreation resource? 

Yes, it is a legitimate sport/recreation as golf, baseball, or skateboarding.

Do you believe that the LFGA Shooting Sports Facility should be treated differently than other sporting venues by the City of Lethbridge? If so, how?

Safety is the foremost consideration and so it is critical that the educators and instructors are capable and certified.  The culture that supports ethical sporting needs to (sic)

What is your position on ethical hunting and our need to support modern methods of wildlife management.

I am in favour of ethical practices. We all have an interest in wildlife management as more people move out and into the hinterlands to enjoy nature and share our natural resources.

How would you support the extensive conservation, environment protection and revitalization, and wildlife management programs we provide?

Grants should be made available support and fund conservation, environmental protection, and other programs.  These are environmental issues that benefit everyone and it is through NGOs such as the LFGA that make the efforts and do the work and we must recognize and reinforce those efforts.

Have you ever worked with the LFGA in the past and what was your experience?

No, I have not had any working experience with the LFGA but I look forward to the opportunity to do so.
