1. Do you support the continued operation of the Lethbridge Fish & Game Shooting Sports Facility in its current location in Pennaquim Park?  

Yes.  I believe the present location is safe and well designed.

2. Do you believe the City of Lethbridge has an obligation to residents by assisting the Lethbridge Fish and Game Association provide a safe, controlled environment to use firearms?

I Have supported the Lethbridge Fish and Game Association in the past. I believe that it is beneficial to have a designated facility that provides training and a safe venue for its members.

Most recently I supported the LFGA’s application for facility enhancement in the City of Lethbridge Capital Improvement process.  The LFGA  C.I.P. request was approved by a majority vote

3. Do you agree that the LFGA Shooting Sports Facility represents an important community sport and recreation resource? 

Yes.  Without it, the use of firearms would be uncoordinated and would create a greater risk for the community.

4. Do you believe that the LFGA Shooting Sports Facility should be treated differently than other sporting venues by the City of Lethbridge? If so, how?

 No.  I don’t believe that we treat this facility differently and would like more information about this concern.

5. What is your position on ethical hunting and our need to support modern methods of wildlife management.

  I have no formal position on ethical hunting.

6. How would you support the extensive conservation, environment protection and revitalization, and wildlife management programs we provide?

 I am aware that the LFGA provides comprehensive training. I certainly would refer any individuals or organizations interested in learning to use firearms to the LFGA

7. Have you ever worked with the LFGA in the past and what was your experience?

Yes.  I have toured the range twice.  I understand and have supported the enhancements to the gun range.
