Jr. Rifle League – Free for Youth 17 & under
An excellent starting point for most youth with no or little experience, the Junior rifle league will be starting on Monday, June 5th. Participants learn the fundamentals of firearm safety handling and shooting form. All equipment and instruction provided free to youth 17 & under. Classes will be starting at 6:00 pm each Monday and will run June 5th, 12, 19 & 26th. To register please contact Dean Weger
Range Officer’s Course May 20th.
There will be a Range Officer Certification Course this Saturday, May 20, 2017. Participants must subscribe to our email list. This fulfills your responsibility to keep informed. Please subscribe here Participants must bring these four things your 2017 LFGA membership card with the range sticker, photo identification, a pen and $25.00 cash. The course starts at 9:00 AM at the Fish and Game Hut 9th Avenue & 10th Street South. It is usually finished in three hours. Youth Pistol / STP Course – two seats available – starts tomorrow night 05/16
Due to some schedule changes, there are still two spots in the youth Pistol Course starting tomorrow. We recommend that youth who sign up for this course should have had some experience with firearms and safe handling rules, they do not necessarily have to have had pistol experience. Youth who enjoy this course can become part of the SAFE TRAINING PROGRAM (STP) and take their Black Badge course to participate in IPSC (IPSC Alberta)matches.
