Open Rifle Sight-In Clinics – Free for All!

Get ready for hunting season with the LFGA’s free Rifle Sight-In Clinics! Open to both members and non-members, these clinics are designed to help you properly sight in your hunting rifles and ensure they are in top condition for a safe and ethical hunt.

• Eligibility: Open to all over 18, or under 18 with a participating guardian

OPEN RIFLE SIGHT-IN CLINICS – EVERYONE WELCOME

Each year, prior to the hunting season, LFGA puts on two (2) rifle sight-in-clinics for the membership as well as the general public.  We do this to ensure that the guns that are out in the field, that have passed through our clinics, are in good working condition to ensure a safe and ethical harvest of game animals.  We not only teach the shooter the proper method to sight-in their hunting rifle but check on the overall workings and maintenance of the firearm.

Dates: September 28, 2024, and October 19, 2024

Time: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Location: Lethbridge Fish and Game Shooting Sports Facility – Range 2

Members & Non-Members Welcome (there is no fee for this event, however coffee and snacks will be provided on a cash donation basis)

All participants must be over 18 years of age or accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also participating in the sight-in clinic. Everyone will need to sign a waiver upon entry to the LFGA Shooting Sports Facility. 

What to Expect:

Expert Guidance: Our passionate and experienced volunteers are here to provide expert guidance, answer your questions, and help with scope mounting, minor rifle repairs, the cleaning process and getting your hunting shots on target!

This is an open event so members and non-members alike are invited to bring their rifle(s) and at least one box of hunting ammunition* and sight them in.

Our volunteers provide these annual clinics as a public safety service.  An accurate rifle provides a safer tool for target shooting and ethical hunting.

Complimentary Targets: We’re proud to offer complimentary targets to all participants, enhancing your shooting experience and sight adjustments. 

Community Engagement: Beyond improving your shooting skills, this event is an opportunity to connect with fellow enthusiasts, share stories, and forge new friendships within the LFGA community.
