Range # 3 is for .22lr (long rifle) ammunition ONLY – NO other calibres or variants are allowed. Two members so far have had to retake their RO course for not following this rule. This range has always been .22lr only (unless a special booking and risk assessment has been completed and approved by the Range Operator.) This rule will strictly be enforced to protect the target assets and range infrastructure. It also provides a low-stress environment for those shooters/family that prefer the smaller, quieter retort of the .22lr.
