In addition to being the Vice-President of the LFGA, I am the Casino Chair. I teach the Canadian Firearm safety course / restricted course monthly at the LFGA clubhouse. I am also one of four instructors for our range officer training program.

We are so fortunate to have a great group of volunteers who do the work that we all benefit from.  This crew are making things happen at our shooting sports facility. A big thank you to Henry Suyker, Frank Pawlak, Dan Johnson and James Strachan for completing the access ramps, stairs and deck on our new classroom.

Volunteer opportunity for some habitat work.

We just returned from some antelope fencing recon and have set the three dates for projects this year and have confirmed two of the locations near Milk River. We’ve been struggling a bit to get volunteers the past couple years so please feel free to spread the word to you family, friends and to you local Fish and Game clubs. We’d really like to get 16 people out to each event this summer. Hopefully by moving to some new locations…

We are looking for a member who wants to work with LFGA volunteers. Basically the volunteer management role is to have an “inventory” of people who have a desire and skills to help. Then when something comes up we put a “call” out to the list of qualified / interested people and find the help we need to make something happen. So whether we need to release pheasants or do a range cleanup or get some range officers to help…
